  Audubon Signature Programs

The Audubon Signature Programs provide environmental planning assistance to new developments.  The programs help landowners and developers design for the environment so that both economic and environmental objectives are achieved.  Once construction is complete, involvement in an Audubon Signature Program ensures that managers apply sustainable resource management practices in the long-term stewardship of the property.

Audubon Classic Programs

Owners and managers of properties with existing land uses may join a program of similar rigor to our Audubon Signature Programs.  These properties include redevelopments or ongoing restoration projects while maintaining the same use.

St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California, may be the “Greenest New Church” in America. In June 2005, the congregation began to strengthen their environmental stance by planning the development of a new educational and spiritual complex with a goal of becoming certified in the Audubon International Signature Program.
