About Audubon Partners for the Environment
The Audubon Partners for the Environment program engages businesses and schools in short-term projects that protect and enhance the land, water, wildlife, and other natural resources around them. Program members make a commitment to complete at least one environmental improvement project each year and report their results to Audubon International. For each completed project program members receive an award to recognize their efforts to foster environmental awareness and good stewardship.
Project Based Environmental Stewardship
Audubon Partners for the Environment program members choose from a variety of projects, based on their interests, resources, and time. Projects are offered in five areas: wildlife, water, outreach and education, eco-efficiency, and community awareness. The projects are designed to be fun and engaging, with a range from beginner to more advanced. For instance, many program members have put up nest boxes for birds, planted gardens for wildlife, cleaned up streams, and much more!
This program is a perfect fit for businesses and schools that want to do something good for the environment and would like help and recognition along the way.
