New York Operations
Watershed Protection
We are working to
protect the waters that run through New York State in a number of ways:
-
Participation — We helped form the
Onesquathaw-Coeymans Watershed Council to protect the watershed where we work.
The lessons we’re learning are serving as a model for our state-wide watershed
education and conservation action strategy. There are a number of other
watershed projects that
are managed through our New York Operations
department well.
-
Outreach — We provide
information, advice, and tools for watershed protection throughout the
state—through Audubon International's set of
education and
certification programs.
