Club Amenities
Demonstrating Environmental Sustainability
The Club Amenities recognizes clubs that demonstrate a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. Through our program, clubs are formally recognized for creating healthy, desirable and vibrant places where patrons and staff live, work and play – both now and for future generations.

Benefits of Membership
Today, members, guests, owners, investors, and regulators increasingly evaluate sustainability across the entire club experience—not solely the golf course. Clubhouses, dining operations, wellness facilities, pools, racquet sports, event venues, and lodging accommodations are now expected to demonstrate measurable environmental and social responsibility.
Environmental certification is a practical business tool that can strengthen your club’s reputation, improve member and employee engagement, support more efficient operations, and demonstrate a long-term commitment to the land and community that make the club special.
Benefits:
Protect the Property-Certification helps guide responsible water use, habitat protection, chemical handling, energy use, waste reduction, recycling, and overall environmental performance in and around the clubhouse.
Build Credibility- Third-party validation demonstrates that the club’s environmental efforts are measured against recognized standards rather than simply self-declared merit, creating greater confidence among members, neighbors, regulators, and partners.
Differentiate the Club-Certified status gives the club a meaningful point of distinction in membership marketing, guest communications, community outreach, and public relations.
Engage Members and Staff-Members gain a stronger sense of pride in belonging to a wholly environmentally responsible club, while employees benefit from clearer goals, training opportunities, and a shared purpose around stewardship.
Improve Operations-Our certification process encourages documentation, accountability, interdepartmental coordination, and continuous improvement, helping leadership manage resources and priorities more effectively.
Reduce Risk and Strengthen Resilience-Better planning, training, and environmental practices may reduce operational risk, support risk-management conversations, and help the club prepare for evolving expectations around water, chemicals, energy, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
